Burr Tiger Oak Bowl

A wonderful and unexpected find inside an Oak board bought sight unseen from a turner unusually reducing their wood stock. There was evidence of burr but the extent and the tiger stripes were a revelation. Sealed in food safe beeswax / mineral oil balm. The interior surface variability due to the cats paw burr patterning and air drying shakes make this piece unsuitable for use with liquids and ideally suited as a statement centre piece.
